DOUBLE GARLIC GARLIC BREAD

This is THE best garlic bread recipe and comes together in less than 15 minutes. Need I say more?

DOUBLE GARLIC GARLIC BREAD

From America's Test Kitchen
​Makes: 4-6 servings
Takes: 15 minutes
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • ​8 tablespoons of butter (4 tablespoons melted and 4 tablespoons softened at room temp)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne 
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 loaf of soft Italian or French bread
  1. Preheat oven to 450. Grate 4-5 cloves of garlic. Add garlic to 4 tablespoons of melted butter and microwave for 1 minute.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of garlic powder with 1 teaspoon of water and add to the butter.
  3. Add softened butter to the melted butter. Add cayenne and salt and mix all together.
  4. Slice the bread in half horizontally and spread the butter onto the bread. Place bread on a parchment lined sheet tray (butter side up) and bake for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the bread over and place another sheet tray on top, plus a heavy cast iron pan to flatten the tray and place back in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Slice and serve warm.
